Hello Choir and Musical Theatre parents and Singers!
As we are not allowed to do concerts at this time we have elected to do some videos so we will be able to share with you and show what we are learning throughout the year. To start the year Choir started learning "Over the Rainbow/ What a Wonderful World" and Musical Theatre started learning "Get on your Feet," from the musical On Your Feet. I hope that you have heard these tunes as students should have been practicing at home. We are now at the point where students are getting ready to record their tracks. I will then take all of the students individual tracks and layer them ontop of eachother to make one recording of our classes at Carson Middle School. We have never done this before but 2020 is a year of firsts!
I wanted to give you some pointers and advice so that you can help your singer with their recording, all this information is on google classroom as well!
Here is also a video of how I set up to record. If you do not have multiple devices to use while recording please message Miss Valley and she will set up a time to you can record in the classroom.
