Merry Christmas already?! That's right! Our Marching Bands (Advanced Band and Intermediate Band) will be participating in the Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade!

The parade starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes from Pyramid down Victorian Ave to 15th Street. This is about a half mile. Students will need to wear their marching jackets that were passed out in class as well as black pants, black socks, and comfortable black shoes.

We will meet at Carson Middle School at 10:30 AM to do a quick rehearsal and make sure we have our instruments. The bus will arrive at 11:00 AM to take us to Sparks where we will check-in at our line up spot at 12:00 PM. We are entry number 27-29 (out of 200). After we march, we will have a quick meal at the Meadowood Mall Food Court.  Time permitting, we will also allow students to play at the  1UP arcade. Students will not be allowed to wander the mall or go shopping for safety reasons.

 

We expect to return to Carson Middle School at around 5:00 PM. Students will call their ride when we get to Washoe Valley.

Many families enjoy taking their child(ren) early to spend time together at Meadowood Mall or other Reno locations. If you would like to check out early, please fill out the Transportation Form above.
