Jazz Band

The Jazz Era began in the 1920's by Black Americans particularly in New Orleans, LA. It has since become part of American history and inspired other genres of music such as Rock and Roll, Hip-Hop, and Pop music. Students today learn the history of the genre as well as the unwritten rules of performance and how to improvise on their instrument.
