Hello Directors,
Unfortunately, due to scheduling and weather concerns in this crazy winter, we will be moving the NMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival to an all-virtual format for the 2023 year. All groups who have registered are able to participate in the virtual festival by recording a video and submitting the video through the link provided below. If you would like to register additional groups for the virtual festival, please reach out to Tamara.Frazier@washoeschools.net.
Video submissions will be accepted from Monday, April 3rd, through Friday, April 21st, through a Google Drive Uploader. You can submit your video links by clicking the link below:

Videos will be adjudicated, and feedback will be provided by May 5th to all participating groups. Medals will be sent to participating directors in early May to give to student musicians.

There is a cost to participate, so please read the S/E rules above.

You will need to choose a piece of music that meets requirements and be prepared to have the accompaniment part covered by another musician. For example, if you want to play a Solo that has a piano part, you must have a pianist perform with you.
